    Home exercise:

    1 until 6 are different routines or situations on the course. Sit in a chair. Pick a number from 1 until 6. Close your eyes and try to see yourself executing the routine or play the course as clear possible? (by as clear as possible, I mean make it as alive as you can. (fairway, green, tee, bag, trees, smell the grass, hear the birds, feel the sun etc.)

    1. Tee box routine
    2. Iron shot routine
    3. Putting routine (short, makeable, long)
    4. Pitches/chips and sand shot routines
    5. Play varrying situation in competition
    6. Play the couse tactically in your mind

    Reset Strategy in Competition

    During a round of golf it can happen that you feel stressed for whatever reason. This will influence your clear thinking and will have a big influence on your decision making and in the end your performance.

    Use the next exercise and see what happens on the course:

    1. Close your eyes
    2. Breath (5-6 count) for 10 seconds
    3. Imagine a relaxing scene
    4. Smile
    5. Self-talk “Get it back”
    6. Open your eyes
